Walk off the Earth - Red Hands

You may have seen Walk off the Earth’s cover of Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used To Know” that went viral earlier this year. Well that cover earned the quintet band from Ontario, Canada a record deal with Columbia. Off the back of that, here’s the visual interpretation of the single “Red Hands” that features on their debut EP R.E.V.O. Shot in one take, the video shows the group members singing and playing instruments at different speeds. Director Ellis Bahl spoke of the concept stating, “We shot it on a steady-cam and walked backward down the whole hallway with the band walking forward performing the out of order song toward the camera. We only had enough supplies/daylight for 10 takes and finally got it on the last one. It was really scary, but the payoff was immense.” Watch the finished product above.
