When Tom Park opened Leather Soul back in 2004, it was to spread his love for shoes with the people of Hawaii. Eight years later, the retailer of premium footwear has two locations, a close-knit group of employees, and thousands of customers worldwide. To commemorate the success of Leather Soul, the multifaceted shoe shop will be releasing a celebratory package of shoes, shirts and accessories. Each pack will include a pair of Alden Chukkas crafted from #8 shell cordovan — a limited release of 88 pairs — along with a Leather Soul x Reyn Spooner shirt, shoe bag, tote and shoe trees. The entire pack sells for $1,000 USD and releases at Leather Soul Waikiki next week, with each item available individually in December from the retailer’s new Downtown Honolulu location.
