For Fall/Winter 2012 it seems that Vans shows no signs of slowing down. Despite its longstanding presence within the footwear landscape, the storied 1966 brand continues to experiment with its mainstay silhouettes — reappropriating the classics with new textiles, materials and colorways. The latest Van Doren Collection arrival drops with the introduction of the “Tribal” pack. Offered up in two colorways — tribal/black or tribal/blue — the all-over print boasts an aesthetic that is almost graffiti-like in its application (perhaps a subtle nod to Louis Vuitton’s Stephen Sprouse collection?). Each pair is rounded out with accents of vibrant pure white that plays its role on the classic waffle midsole section, leather heel tab and interior lining. Those in the market can find availability through select stockists including directly through the Vans online store. Retail is slated at $50 USD.
