While fans of the Houston producer Slim K may have expected this rework to release days after the track’s original release, today he delivers his chopped and screwed take on G.O.O.D. Music’s “Clique.” Set to appear on K’s upcoming Purple Children 3 compilation mixtape, the slowed remake maintains the same head nodding appeal as its predecessor. As the newest edition to the OG Ron C’s Chopstars, Slim K will release Purple Children 3 on Monday, October 8, and it will feature chopped and screwed versions of tracks by Kendrick Lamar, Lupe Fiasco, KiD CuDi, Kilo Kish, Rick Ross and many more.
