Extending our recurring Essentials segment, creative director for Norse Projects and partner at Copenhagen’s v1 Gallery Mikkel Grønnebæk has divulged his range of day-to-day items. Born and raised in Denmark, Mikkel’s choices exemplify simplicity, taste, and an interest in design while reflecting what is truly at the essence of his every day. An affinity for Japanese culture and clean accessories further characterizes the items displayed, while the Danish designer also included two beverages of choice. Daily items such as a Pantone swatch flipbook and tape measure surely are crucial in Grønnebæk’s design of Norse’s favorable collections, while a pair of deadstock army sunglasses is accompanied by an indigo-dyed handmade case from Okura. A vintage Letraset typography book and crisp white Chuck Taylor All-Stars complete the selection from Mikkel.
