The emotional highlight of the night was the tribute to recently passed away Chris Lighty. With an intro from LL Cool J and Funkmaster Flex behind the tables, Busta Rhymes, 50 Cent, Fat Joe, A Tribe Called Quest and Missy Elliot all performed timeless hits from the Violator catalog all helmed by the late mogul.
