Confederate Motorcycles makes some of the most attractive and drool-worthy motorcycles around, but they’re no slouches either as James Hoegh can attest to. He recently broke the speed record for big block American V-twin engine motorcycles, hitting 172.211 mph atop a prototype Confederate X132 Hellcat Combat motorcycle. Set for a limited release next year, the Hellcat Combat borrows the same 132-cubic-inch as Hellcat motorcycle, albeit one with a thorough reworking for increased performance. Check the video for a look at James Hoegh’s record-breaking speed run and look for this stunning motorcycle in 2013.
