Over the past few years, Kurt Vile has made a name for himself as a solo artist for his Americana-infused indie sound. He’s put four albums out in the past four years, and he’s also carried over his talents to The War On Drugs – a Philadelphia-based band formed by him and musician Adam Granduciel. This past August, the group released their second studio album, Slave Ambient, to a slew of stellar reviews from the likes of Pitchfork and Consequence of Sound. To start off the year on a strong foot, Vile and crew have just released a brand new music video from the project and will be heading out on a 40-date tour next month. Press play above to watch the very strange, cinematic video for Slave Ambient‘s second track, “Brothers,” and click here to purchase tickets to a War On Drugs show near you.
