The Killers to release album this year

In what will account for their first release since 2008, Brandon Flowers of The Killers has officially disclosed that the band will “definitely” be releasing a new album in 2012. While he has indeed guaranteed the drop, he is still playing his cards rather close to his chest, as the frontman refuses to reveal an approximate date for the offering.

“It’s just whether it’s [released in] the summer time or the winter time,” said Flowers when asked about the band’s plans for a new LP, before adding it was “exciting getting everyone in the room to make some noise”.
