The Weeknd cancels NYC show

Bad news for The Weeknd fans. The Toronto-based crooner is letting his American audience wait a bit longer for his U.S. stage debut as his performance at Vice‘s first annual Upfront Extravaganza, which will take place at Skylight One Hanson in New York on September 15, has been cancelled. Vice issued following statement.

“The Weeknd has cancelled their scheduled New York City performance. We’re disappointed, but are here for him when he’s ready. We’re big fans.”
