It has finally been confirmed that after plenty of speculation, Kanye West will in fact debut his first womenswear collection during this year’s Paris Fashion Week. This will mark West’s second crack at launching a clothing line, after his first menswear attempt with Pastelle was scrapped and never saw the light of day. The upcoming womenswear collection will be ready for this upcoming 2012 spring/summer season with an official runway time of 9:30 p.m. on October 1. Although most of the information is still kept under wraps, the collection is sure to be one of the most talked about events this season. As always, you can expect West to put in as much time, detail and creativity in the collection as we’ve come to expect from his musical endeavors.
