As a successor model to the GR DIGITAL III, the enhanced GR DIGITAL IV camera from Ricoh features quick shooting capability, a refined optical filter, improved AF speed, tilt direction detectors and more. As the highest image quality camera in GR DIGITAL history, you can expect Ricoh’s signature 28mm/F1.9 GR lens and a 10 million pixel, 1/1.7-inch CCD showing off its high-sensitivity characteristics. Stay tuned for the release this October, featuring a limited edition white version produced in a 10,000 unit run. Further information on the camera is available here.
Hybrid AF System – The Hybrid AF System offers AF focusing time as short as 0.2 seconds, half that of the GR DIGITAL III.
Dynamic Range Compensation – Minimizes the effects of blown highlights in bright areas and crushed blacks in dark ones. For backlit or high-contrast scenes where exposure compensation alone is not enough, compensation is performed for each area enabling the photographer to take pictures at a brightness that closely matches how the subject looked.
The Image Sensor – The Image Sensor is made with 1/1.7-inch CCD, which is approximately 10.40 million pixels.
Continuous Shooting – Shoots approximately 1.54 frames per second with a maximum continuous shot sequence of 999 photos.
