Unrivaled in his surgical approach to bespoke apparel design, Dr. Romanelli was invited to offer his unique vision to be a part of the Beck’s Green Box Project. Created to fund and showcase 1,000 projects over the course of a three-year period, the Green Box Project aims to highlight individuals with a unique and creative vision within their respective spheres of influence. For the anatomically-inspired contribution entitled “Craneo Scope,” Dr. Romanelli incorporated a variety of Japanese boro cloth-like fabrics and vintage textiles and placed them on various sections of a skull. Presented via an augmented reality experience, the virtual demonstration will showcase the evolution and deterioration of the shrouded skull and its materials.
