The Flaming Lips reveal their plans to release a song that is 24 hours long on Halloween day – this is not a typo. Once the 24-hour song is recorded, they will place the song onto five hard drives and encase them in chromed-out human skulls, packaged neatly inside elegant boxes (we assume they will be selling these). Frontman Wayne Coyne says “it’s a song about death and it’s a song about fucking and it’s a song about life.” The song drops the midnight of Halloween. Stay tuned.
