Following the departure of Christian Dior designer John Galliano, the French fashion house has been patient trying to find a successor with the latest prospect being Marc Jacobs. According to WWD, Jacobs who is the creative director for Louis Vuitton as well as his own eponymous label is said to be in “very serious” talks with Dior. This could prove to be a new creative direction for the designer as his contract is up for renewal this year with LV. If Jacobs accepts, he is said to be bringing longtime business partner Robert Duffy on board as well.
