Currently, Katy Perry’s “Last Friday Night (TGIF)” is sitting at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. In other words, she’s one spot away from tying the record of five No. 1’s off of one album, which Michael Jackson set back in 1987 with his seventh studio album, Bad. To give the song the extra nudge it may need to beat out LMFAO’s “Party Rock Anthem” for the top spot, Perry and her team reached out to none other than Missy Elliott to bless “Last Friday Night (TGIF)” with her famous touch. To differentiate itself from the original, the remix begins with a verse from Elliott and then brings her back in after the second chorus for some assistance on the breakdown. Check it out below!
