News has surfaced of an upcoming charity effort put on by Takashi Murakami’s Kaikai Kiki company and esteemed auction house Christie’s. The event set to take place in New York sometime in November will enlist handpicked artists who will each contribute work to the auction. The money raised from the auction will directly benefit those still struggling to obtain normalcy after the earthquake that rattled Japan earlier this year.
