The ravaging hurricane that never was, Irene stumbled its way through New York City with little fanfare. But having said that, something that felt the force of the downpours was the famous artist wall on Houston & Bowery. As of a few days ago, it was home to a large piece by French artist JR and his signature large scale photographic reproductions.
