According to Billboard, Lil Wayne’s just-released Tha Carter IV album could achieve the second biggest sales week of the year. Industry forecasters suggest it may sell 700,000-850,000 copies by the end of the tracking week on next Sunday, September 4. If this is the case, the LP will mark the second largest frame of any album this year, behind Lady Gaga’s Born This Way that debuted with 1.11 million copies sold.

Tha Carter IV was released at 12 a.m. this morning, August 29, following Lil Wayne’s closing performance at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards. Share your thoughts below!
