In a recent article published by Shop-Eat-Surf.com, the action sports news site fills us in on the future of longtime Sole Tech brand éS, as founder Pierre André Senizergues sat down for a brief interview regarding the company’s position in the Sole Tech stable. “It’s a very complex market right now – there are a lot of brands, and a lot of pressure on the market,” said Pierre. “We feel it’s the time to simplify things.” With the market shifting dramatically over the past few years, it seems like éS has had a tougher time catching up as opposed to its fellow brands in etnies, Emerica and Altamont, as well as snowboarding label ThirtyTwo. Spring 2012 will mark the last delivery from éS for the time being, as it will go on “creative retreat” from that point forward. A bit further insight on the matter can be found here.
