Shot in the very locale that inspired the collection (old desert roads that connect British Columbia to Arizona on the way to Lake Powell), Lifetime’s Spring/Summer 2012 offering is put on display in this lookbook. The cactus-laden wilderness’s effect on the brand’s color palette is apparent – with hoodies, T-shirts, cardigans, tailored shorts, outerwear and even high-top sneakers all highlighted in hints of clay-hued red, night black, sandy browns and greens color the bristly desert shrubs. Styled subtly and well, the looks in this collection’s photoshoot are all ideal for hot hiking treks, chilly night camping or maybe just a stylish coffee-run in the city. Also worth mentioning is a very nice looking canvas backpack, hopefully a sign of more accessories to come from this rustic yet contemporary menswear brand.
