COMME des GARCONS "Airborne" Fragrance by Hussein Chalayan

Fashion designer Hussein Chalayan unveils “Airborne,” his latest fragrance created alongside COMME des GARCONS. Named after the designer’s 2007 winter collection, the scent is an ode to his journeys from Cyprus to London, dissecting all the possible smells from the Northern Cypriot topography – from flowers, weeds, vegtables to air, the sea, earth, wood and where possible their burnt and fresh variations. An international launch for “Airborne” is scheduled for July 21 at Dover Street Market in London, with distribution to Hussein Chalayan retailers towards the end of the month.
