AOL Offices by Studio O+A

The drab corporate atmosphere of AOL is nowhere to be seen in this swank, character-injected workplace devised by San Francisco-based architectural firm Studio O+A. Located in the heart of Palo Alto, the Silicon Valley firm strove to recreate the “transparency” of the company by commissioning Studio O+A, whose efforts include the now famous Facebook headquarters. From a chroma of colors to an unconventional selection of materials, the designers seemingly strove for a more organic experience substituting conservative for casual aesthetics that encompasses everything from the offices to the lounge areas.
