3x1 Store Opening

Even if you’ve never heard of Scott Morrison, we’ll venture to guess that you’re probably familiar with his two highly successful denim companies, Ernest Sewn and Paper Denim & Cloth. Having grown both of those labels into household names, Morrison is now moving on to a new project called 3×1 (the name comes from 3×1 right hand twill, a standard weaving construction). Located in the heart of New York City, 3×1 is a new retail concept store that has a full-fledged, in-house denim manufacturing facility where shoppers can actually stand by and watch as a team of craftsman assembles a pair of jeans. Stocking a small selection of the limited-edition merchandise that’s being produced in-house (up to 25 pieces per day), 3×1 will sell both men’s and women’s apparel.
