During their interview with Rolling Stone, Brooklyn’s noise pop ambassadors Sleigh Bells have revealed interesting details regarding the follow-up to last year’s critically-acclaimed Treats. Comprised of singer Alexis Krauss and guitarist and producer Derek E. Miller, the duo is switching the tone for their next offering. Krauss said:

“Emotionally, it’s a really heavy record. Even the early demos that we have now, a lot of the stuff that Derek has recorded, sounds more immense to me. Some of [Treats] you could consider party music. That’s definitely not the case with this one. It sounds really huge, so there’s going to still be tons of volume.”
