Even more festival goodness is ahead of us, as Heineken announced that Kanye West and G.O.O.D. Music have partnered with the company to launch this summer’s Heineken Red Star Access. As HipHop DX points out, the series will encompass 18 dates with a launch event in New York City presented by West on June 9. G.O.O.D Music representatives CyHi Da Prynce and Pusha T are scheduled to hit the road for the first leg of the tour.
A celebrity female will host each event, while “tier two talent and local market female hosts” will appear for the second leg of the trek. Expect stops in New York City, Miami, Chicago, Philadelphia, Houston, Washington D.C., New Orleans, Atlanta and Detroit.
Red Star Access is the successor to previous music initiatives – such as Red Star Soul and Inspire – and sees the beverage brand developing intact relationships with the artists and their associated record labels. Heineken USA urban brand manager Tyler White released following statement.
“We are ecstatic to be able to create Red Star Access for our consumer base, ultimately creating a platform that allows us to stay in their circle of dialogue and contribute value to their music experiences.”
Additional dates and ticket information will be announced in the forthcoming weeks.
