Although photos of this shoe first appeared with the release of their Spring 2011 lookbook, the design has been waiting to see the light of day for more than two years. The challenge for this collaboration was to create something out-of-the-norm for Reebok. 10.Deep decided to apply the vintage look that has influenced the line for the past few seasons, and requested that Reebok grant access to an early ’90s all-terrain shoe from their archives. Comprised of a soft suede upper, nylon ripstop, a die-cut EVA midsole for lightweight cushioning and a high-abrasion rubber outsole for strength and durability, the Night Sky Mid comes in a single colorway with “blacked out” Reebok label branding and red/black and blue/black boot lace options. Produced in very limited numbers, the kicks are now available at select retailers worldwide, including the brand’s online shop.
