As the world’s longest-running and largest hip-hop concert, Hot 97’s Summer Jam has pleased its audience with memorable appearances by musical greats like Michael Jackson, who joined Jay-Z on stage, as well as Eminem, Kanye West and the late Notorious B.I.G. The official lineup of this year’s edition of the fest has now been revealed. It appears that East Rutherford, New Jersey will host almost the entire Young Money family as Lil Wayne, Drake, Birdman and more have been added to the list of performers. In addition, Chris Brown, Dipset, Rick Ross, Fabolous, Lloyd Banks and friends, Wiz Khalifa and Waka Flocka Flame are set to grace the stage on Sunday, June 5 at the New Meadowlands Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Tickets for Hot 97’s Summer Jam 2011 are on sale now via Ticketmaster. A portion of the proceeds of Summer Jam 2011 benefit Hot 97’s “Hip-Hop Has Heart Foundation” providing financial assistance to charities that benefit New York Tri-State communities.
