Dave White "Americana" Exhibition Recap

British painter Dave White recently premiered a new series of work under the title “Americana” at The Coningsby Gallery in London. Around these circles, the work of Dave White is perhaps more often associated with pop culture elements of sneakers and its relevant icons. However, “Americana” demonstrated a different angle as his signature style was put to the test against much different subject matter. The use of “Americana” was shown through traditional pieces associated with American culture such as Cowboys and Indians on both canvas and skatedecks. The exhibition runs until April 30, 2011.
