The New Balance hybrid H710 has hit select retailers globally. The hiking-inspired model features inspirations from various Ivy League institutions and replicated through high quality materials. The sneaker itself is inspired by the New Balance Rainer, a hiker created for mountaineer Lou Whittaker of Rainier Mountaineering Guide Service. Whittaker’s experiences with New Balance began when an injured toe required him to lace up in a pair of New Balance tennis shoes, subsequent suggestions for a lug outsole led to the development of the Rainier. The H710 “Ivy League” is available now at select retailers including Leftfoot in Singapore.
