Controversial 2011 Grammy Award winners Arcade Fire present a new short film titled “Scenes from the Suburbs” which includes the direction of the critically-acclaimed Spike Jonze. The video derives its name from Arcade Fire’s 2010 album release The Suburbs. The 30-minute film co-written by Arcade Fire’s Win Butler and Will Butler, as well as Spike Jonze tackles the notion of living in suburbia while trying to piece together and connect one’s past from the vantage point of the narrator. The video is an extension of the album itself.
