Frederique Constant Vintage Racing Collection
Building off the brand’s previous engagement with classic car events, Swiss watchmakers
Building off the brand’s previous engagement with classic car events, Swiss watchmakers Frederique Constant were recently announced as the official timekeeper for the Peking to Paris Motor Challenge in 2013 – a grueling race covering some of the world’s most remote areas in its 9,000 miles and 33 days. Having to be completed by cars built prior to 1975, the platform was the perfect occasion for Frederique Constant to introduce its new Vintage Racing Collection – a line which revolves around the new in-house chronograph movement, the FC-396. Three automatic chronographs will be featured, each distinguished by a unique dial design with a sapphire case-back displaying a special rotor engraved with the Peking to Paris logo. Production for each timepiece is limited to 1,888 units, with a price set at $2,750 USD. Additional information on the collection can be found here.
