Casio develops an all-new technology for its rugged and dependable watches with the unveiling of the Bluetooth Low Energy G-Shock. For the time being, the feature list is rather simple in which watches and phones can be synced over Bluetooth for timing accuracy, the ability to be notified of alerts on your smartphone, and silencing your smartphone via the watch. There is the potential for greater development down the line as we anticipate some interesting advancements to come on the back of this initial pairing. Aside from the Bluetooth functionality, the watch still maintains water resistance up to 200 meters and all the usual G-Shock features.
