Berlin-based eyewear company MYKITA pull the covers off of its Spring/Summer 2012 collection. At the heart of the new developments is the use of a new material, Mylon. The collection presented here positions itself as a luxury sports fashion line, which according to MYKITA will help create an all-new silo that merges the sensibilities of both fashion and performance. The use of Mylon ensures both lightweight comfort and a degree of adaptability to the wearer’s face which will bode well for activities such as golf. Several models will use Zeiss-developed lenses specifically catering to “hipster golfers,” as MYKITA likes to put it.
