The PUMA “The List” collection looks to Italy as the source of inspiration for its latest drop. Based on PUMA’s fan favorite Suede Classic, the former basketball sneaker presents itself as a canvas to three Italian tattoo artists. Davide Di Stefano, Heinz and Rino Valente each offer a unique perspective on the art of tattooing based on their respective international travels. The use of tattoo art as a crossover into fashion has been a contentious issue over the years thanks to some rather unsightly offerings, however these renditions do the artwork justice and keep it clean and subtle through applications on the lining and outsole. The collection will hit all PUMA “The List” stockists on a global scale including Tokyo’s XLarge.
