Jordan Brand held a special “Flight Forum” this week at the Nike Campus in Beaverton, heavily centered around the brand’s evolution of basketball footwear. Relying on performance rather than strictly visual aesthetics, each design produced for Holiday 2011 caters to three of JB’s marquee athletes: Dwyane Wade, Chris Paul and Carmelo Anthony. Offered above is a recap of the unveiling, as well as a preview of the Fly Wade 2, CP3.V and Melo M8, in addition to several other models from each player’s signature range. What are your thoughts on Jordan Brand’s focus on performance? Would you like to see more fashion-friendly classics?

Further information of these latest developments, as well as additional imagery, can be found now through Nike.com/jumpman23.
