In association with Marc Newson’s upcoming “Transport” exhibition, Nike has once again open the vaults to the Nike Zvezdochka. Released sparingly including a special LIVESTRONG release of last year, this upcoming re-release comes to us in two colors, Grey/Mahogany and Grey/Aegean. The model was named after the dog who partook in the Russian Sputnik 10 space voyage of 2010 while the inaugural Nike Zvezdochka was unveiled in 2004. The Marc Newson x Nike Zvezdochika “Transport” is available at the Gagosian Shop at 998 Madison Ave while Newson’s transportation and human locomotion-inspired exhibition opens today as well.
