Established in 1996, Acne Studio began life as an advertising agency and loose-collective, making film and music under the name “Ambition to Create Novel Expressions”. The Swedish brand now adds to its impressive list of twenty existing stores, with its first UK store opening in London. The new store covers four floors of a former gallery in Mayfair and fills a minimalist white space with artworks from the likes of Helmut Lang, Katerina Jebb and Husam el Odeh. With expansion firmly on the mind, another store is set to open soon in Paris, in the form of a converted garage in the Marais.
