Sanrio for Dr. Martens 50th Anniversary Collection

Sanrio and Dr. Martens are teaming up for a new collaboration debuting this Fall. The limited edition collection will hit stores beginning September 1st, just in time to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Sanrio and to continue Dr. Martens 50th Anniversary celebrations (which started on April 1st). The exclusive limited offering will feature five styles, including the signature Dr. Martens 1460 8-eye boot in a specially designed print that, for the first time ever, brings many of Sanrio’s characters together! Fan favorites like Hello Kitty, Chococat, Keroppi, Pochacco, Little Twin Stars, My Melody and Patty & Jimmy are featured. Additonal styles include a signature Dr. Martens 1460 8-eye boot and Mary Jane strap shoes that, as a nod to Hello Kitty, sport a 3D bow. Each of the limited editions are available with either a white with blue outsole and red bow or black with pink outsole and pink bow.

All styles will be available in select Dr. Martens stores, select Sanrio Boutiques and Nordstrom, as well as DrMartens.com & HERE at Sanrio.com! The 1460 8-eye boot with the all-over print will retail for $165; the 1460 8-eye boots with the 3D bow and the Mary Jane styles will retail for $135 and $120 respectively. The collection incorporates trademark Dr. Martens details like the grooved air-cushioned sole and heel loop. As an added touch, each pair of boots/shoes will include specially designed Sanrio x Dr. Martens packaging.
