VBS.TV: Skating Iraq with Billy Rohan

Last summer, New York native and a strong driver of skateboard culture Billy Rohan took a once in a lifetime trip to Iraq. Rohan was the lone skateboarder on a trip full of BMX riders for “Bikes Over Baghdad”. The journey afforded some unreal opportunities to check out both Saddam Hussein’s old palaces as well as the chance to skate some interesting backdrops. The whole trip was a rare civilian perspective into the ongoing Middle Eastern war and was shot together with VICE and VBS.TV.
