When The Clipse split with their long time label, Jive, and the super producers who have provided them with the signature electronic minimalism, The Neptunes, many fans had mixed feelings. On one hand the listeners will finally get to hear Pusha and Malice’s classic coke metaphors over beats from the likes of Kanye West, Rick Rubin and more. On the other hand, the chemistry between Pharrell and the custom thump the Neptunes gave the duo through two classic albums would no longer exist. It now appears that the fans can have it both ways.
