In-line with the proliferation of luxury materials used on many French luggage and hand-bag makers, Converse take a luxurious approach to what is largely considered a cheap and disposable form of footwear with a France-exclusive croc skin Chuck Taylor All Star Low. While the use of real croc skin in itself is audacious enough, Converse goes the extra step to also apply a gradient finish to the shoe creating a two-tone design. The shoe will release exclusively in France this month with a suggested retail price of €200 EUR (approximately $260 USD).
