Despite battling jetlag from his trans-atlantic flight from New York, José Parlá has begun his work in anticipation of next month’s solo exhibition in London, Adaptation and Translation. The exhibition taking place at Elms Lesters Painting Room will encompass some of Parlá’s signature style as the artist has developed a strong following for his persuasive 3-D like art which aims to capture the essence of his street surroundings and experiences with texture. The exhibition takes place from October 10th till November 8th.
