He has worked for Atlantic Records, Def Jam, Source magazine, Virgin records, Eminem but one of the projects that made his name big was his work with the Beastie Boys on the Brooklyn Dust Elephant logo. This is the second Tinker Hatfield P-Rod coming from Nike SB, the first being the Fuji P-Rod. Now, thanks for Kix Files, we get a detail look at the sneaker that Tinker Hatfield designed where he took elements of the Air Jordan 12 and the Air Jordan 15 and combined them to create the Nike SB HAT ROD Tinker Hatfield P-Rod 2. According to Nice Kicks:
“The side of the shoe features a black woven material similar to that of the Jordan 15, but the Jordan 12 is represented in many ways on the sneaker. First, the sole and toe cap were colored in the same University Blue. The toe cap leather is the textured just like that on the Jordan 12. This same leather also makes a hit on the black swoosh. On the back panel of the shoe you can see the star of the “rising sun” pattern that made its way to the Jordan 12. Not letting too many thing get pas us, Tinker added metal lace loops for the top two lace hole shaped just like, you guessed it, the Jordan 12.”
Available now at Kix Files.

Triumvir started out applying their artwork to things like sneakers. Through the boom of the sneaker customizing trend, they gained popularity. Also during that time, they also started their own brand which continues to today. Their newest project involved a new Town Bicycle t-shirt. Here is a description from their website:
“Town Bicycles. Who doesn’t know of at least one in every school, town or neighborhood? It doesn’t take one to know one and in most cases, you don’t have to go very far to find her… She’s the one the guys love for all the wrong reasons and the girls hate for all the right reasons. Her generosity nourishes and plagues her undisputable reputation. Her openhandedness or open-leg-edness in this case, insures she’s the one you can’t stop thinking about, talking about, dreaming about… fighting about. She’s not just “public transportation”, she gives you something to love, something to hate; she gives you a reason to wake up in the morning. She’s the all-pervading Town Bicycle and this one’s for her.
The original artwork we used for this tee was from a Richard Avedon photograph of Marilyn Monroe. The border came from a box of Bicycle Playing Cards.”
These tees which are apart of their Spring ‘08 collection will be available in March.
