Occupying a new space and set for re-opening, Lump has created a set of special collaborative products for the relaunch. The retail concept Lump was founded by designers from Whiz and Rebirth as an outlet for their design efforts. Some of the products releasing include Whiz collabos with Disney and design firm 7Stars as well as a Lump x Bearbrick. The Bearbrick will be given away with all purchases over ¥15,000 JPY (approximately $141 USD).

Practicing various forms of expression as a self-taught artist, Taka Hayashi has associated with Vans on previous occasions. He has recently been sought out for another collection of footwear and t-shirts with Vans. His designs can be seen on some of Vans’ signature skate models such as the No Skool 2 Mid, Owens Hi and Rowley “Shambles” Mid. Not slated to release until Fall of 2008.

Upper Playground has prepped a new set of caps to release this month. Fans of designers and graffiti artists Sam Flores (of 12Grain), Greg “Craola” Simkins and Saber (creator of the world’s largest mural) are each treated to fitted caps bearing some of their marquee designs. The caps will release at flagship Upper Playground stores and online at Upper Playground.
Built on a foundation of understated aesthetics, Japanese brand Bootleg Booth will release a set of items this month. Some of the pieces releasing include a coach jacket, raglan shirt and hoodie. Look for some their pieces to hit their own webshop.
