In a first look at Edmonton based retailer Haven’s 2nd anniversary collaborative collection, we kick things off with a look at their team-up hoodie, done with Vancouver’s Reigning Champ. Possessing a strong and well-respected following since its official launch as a separate part of CYC Design, the quality of their products are unmistakable as Haven put their respective touches on RC’s classic heavyweight fleece hoodie. Little details give life to the garment such as premium Alberta leather zipper pulls and patches as well as a subtle triple star embroidery. Also seeing a release together with the hoodie is a piece which features Kenta Goto and Joshua Pong and their fellow Canadian brand Brknhome. The t-shirt embodies the things true and dear to Haven including their roots in the Edmonton, Alberta with the Alberta motto “fortis et liber” meaning “strong and free” incorporated into the design. Both the hoodie and the t-shirt are available in two colorways and will release on December 13th in-store with a online store release the next day.
