The North Face have just released some new coats for spring. On the surface they surely do not reassemble the North Face you are probably accustomed too, however these Japanese Purple Label branded jackets have all the technical innovations that have made TNF such a mainstay in many facets of life, street wear included. The beauty of these featured jackets are the inclusion of a cotton membrane to further enhance the breathability factor of Gore-tex and to create a more comfortable wear.

Starks Laces is doing some pretty special things in the whole sneaker game. We’ve seen a plethora of sneaker add-on’s in the form of lace-locks, lace hole jewelery etc. However Starks breaks it down to the fundamentals. You can’t really wear a shoe without laces, and having said that they’re in the midst of rolling out their 2nd series of laces (see Series 1). Included in this pack are two classic colorways (kinda weird calling laces, colorways) in the unforgettable Jordan Cement Print, as well as the classic colors of Gucci, rounding off series 2 is a pink/black zig zag pattern.

The shop owned by Joe Hahn of “Linkin Park” Suru will have an event with the artist Augustine Kofie on March 30th.
For the past 10+ years, Los Angeles very own Augustine Kofie has been hoarding discarded treasures. For the first time, a very special Installation of his accumulated assortments will be on display in the windows of SURU for the month of April 2007. Snatched metal signs, vintage spray cans, outdated drafting supply’s, assorted Boom Boxes, Electronic Equipment, Industrial Furniture & a healthy handful of Tool Boxes will adorn the front & interior display windows of this forward thinking boutique. Most of these personal & never before seen artifacts have been embellished with Kof’s unique design asthetic, some maintain their natural age & beauty.
