After reading Rob Hepplers blog on HYPEBEAST it occured to me that Johnny Cupcakes and his flavorful designed tees hadn’t graced the front of HYPEBEAST. Well, here comes Johnny and his Cupcakes. His grand opening for his second retail space is officially this Saturday (May 26), but his online merchandise has been up for a while and is selling like hot cakes. His designs have even been the subject of a bit of controversy with a “stolen” design being sold as another brand. Finally, Johnny is here and his cupcakes are here to stay. Check out his online store which is constantly being updated and replenished so don’t get all worked up if the shirt you want is out because more will surely come.

We just posted the Nike Air Max 90 and Dunk High from Nike’s Fantastic 4 pack earlier tonight. Premium Goods in Houston will have a party showcasing all 4 shoes from the Fantastic 4 pack on June 1st. The shoes themselves will be releasing on June 3rd.

The FIFTY24SF Gallery in association with Upper Playground films is doing an artist documentation series entitled ‘The Run Up.’ It will feature films covering 27 of todays top visual creators.
