e.g how is the ankle suport and does the sole burn away quickly?
i curently ride in sb dunk highs and love there feel but the sole burns away QUICK
so need to find something new to ride

thank you

Halfcab's sole doesn't wear out as fast as SB's, but they're not the best either. It'd probably be a better idea to look into other shoes for riding. Also the ankle support is okay, but SB highs probably beat them for that.

I use mine for cycling (a road bike, not a bmx, but w/e) and they work very well. Comfortable, bit of ankle support, and they fit into my pedal's toe clips perfectly.

And yeah they run true to size.

^^ya but the name comes from Steve Caballero, the tricks' skateboarding inventor. Anyway, it's not all that relevant. half cabs aren't real great skating shoes anyway IMO and just cuz a shoe is made for skating doesn't mean you can't use it for cycling/bmxing.
