Of course the Cavs will have problems with Duncan, thats a given! The real problem for the Cavs though is like yall said... Tony Parker. If I was Hughes or Boobie, I would talk so much trash about Eva Longoria, but the Cavs are a pretty classy team and I don't think they'll go there. I might be wrong, but I see in my crystal ball alot of traps being put on when TP drives. TP tends to put his head down when he drives, which the Cavs can capitalize on if they can get guys in front fast enough to take a charge.

The thing that I'm wondering is if Parker can choose between when its time to score and when its time to distribute the ball. I think Parker is the key guy for the Spurs, because Duncan is the epitamy of consistency and discussing what hes gonna do to any team is mute. On the Cavs side, I really think the most important player is gonna be Drew Gooden. He's gonna have to make Duncan work really hard to get his points on the offensive end, maybe even get him into some offensive foul situations (a lil flopping won't hurt...lol). Gooden is not a good offensive player whatsoever so they are gonna have to put him and Z a good 15ft away from the basket and make the Spurs decide who they want Duncan to guard. Its kinda like picking your poison, 'cause if Duncan guards Gooden then Z scores 15-20 pts a game. If Duncan guards Z then he is gonna use up alot of unnecessary energy and fouls.

I wonder who the Cavs are gonna start... Hughes or boobie? I mean Mike Brown has got to be thinking "If boobie can score 31 coming off the bench, I wonder what he can do if he starts?". Maybe he'll just experiment

dosent Hughes have like a pretty bad foot injury right now? from what i hear he has plantar facshaitis (spconfused, which is what hampered Duncun last year during the postseason. Hughes didnt look particularly spry in either the nets or pistons series, what happened to the defensive steal machine that was with the wizards a few years back?

Jay, I think if the Cavs did that that's a preety much easy choice. Anyone can dunk it or lay it in. So Duncan is gonna stay in the post, plus Z can shoot that good jumpshot but he's not gonna make it everytime. Plus its better to make him take jumpshots then start to drive.

i think they should leave gibs on the bench. dont wnna mess with the "flow" of things. also because there's a reason he's scoring at ease. when he comes off the bench he's FRESH and ready while the other players are "tired" not takin anything away from the kid but it is what it is. so when he comes in, he's either the "freshest" guy out there or he's playin against the oppoistion's bench.if he starts, i dont think he will be that effective. and he's an energy plug off the bench as well. dont kno though, that's just my opinion

Game 1 Tonight.

Heres to hoping that the Cavs can take one of two down there in san antonio, because the spurs are great on the road as well.

Yea i wasnt expecting much from this game. The key in the playoffs is always to split on the road so they got 1 more game to try and steal homecourt.

yea...i was hoping they would steal game 1 but hopefully they split.i jsut dont like the 2-3-2 format because it's almost certain that if the cavs win it, they have to win IN san antonio.meaning that they have to "celebrate" in SA because i dont think ANY team can beat SA 4 in a row...

You do realize that Lebron is only 22? Even if he doesnt win this championship he still has years ahead of him. In another 5-10 years alot of dominant players will retire then who will stop him? Hate right now if you want but you have years left of being bitter at Lebron's greatness lol>sad

Yes but as said on Sportscenter Lebron took his team to the NBA finals and he is the only future hall of famer on his team unlike other teams like the bulls, the lakers, the celtics etc. who had mulitple hall of famers on it when they one a championship. The cavs are average but Lebron makes them great thats no secret. And it was "just jordan" some nights winning the games and on other nights "jordan and the bulls" winning the games, just like some nights its "just lebron" winnning the games and other nights its "lebron and the cavs" winning the games

spurs will most likely win the series but it will be very interesting if cavs can win game 2 then hold on for at least 2 out of 3 at home
